Sam received his Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University where he double-majored in Economics & East Asian Studies. While at Yale, Sam was active in entrepreneurship and business, serving as the Director of Finance for the Yale Herald, and founding a successful online marketing company. During his time at Yale, Sam took graduate business and finance classes at the Yale School of Management and The London School of Economics. Sam also has a strong interest in Asia and had the opportunity to study abroad at Beijing University and the Guanghua School of Business in Beijing, China. Sam is proficient in both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
Sam’s work in college admissions began several years ago when he developed a curriculum to teach SAT prep classes. Since then, Sam has worked with numerous students, guiding them through the admissions process, preparing them for standardized tests, and providing strategic admissions advice.
Sam has worked in Yale admissions and has interviewed and reviewed the applications of many prospective students. He also volunteers on the board of the Yale Club, In his free time, he manages a literacy focused 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, and serves as the Director of Scholarships for the Kantner Foundation, a private foundation focused on providing college scholarships for outstanding high school seniors.
