Lynda has been a college admissions advisor for over a decade and has been in the education field for 25 years. She holds a Certificate of College Counseling from UCLA and a Pupil Personnel Credential in Counseling. Lynda obtained her Masters in Education in Counseling Psychology from University of Illinois and her Bachelors of Arts from Xavier University.
She has been recognized for her college admissions expertise with a "Yale Counselor Award". In addition, she has received the "Excellence in Education Award" by Delta Kappa Gamma International Sorority for Women in Education, "College Counselor of the Year" by All Student Loan, and the "Counselors That Change Lives" award. In 2008, she was named Educator of the Year by Los Angeles Scottish Rite as well as Metro PCS Educational Mentor of the Year.
Lynda is the National Special Interest Group Leader for Public School Counselors with the National Association of College Admission Counselors (NACAC). She is also an Executive Board Member for College Counselors of Los Angeles (CCOLA). Lynda works with her students on all phases of the college process from pre-planning to applications and has successfully placed numerous students in their right match colleges.
