A graduate of Princeton University with advanced degrees in education from Harvard University (MEd) and social work Rutgers University (MSW), Jessica (“Jess”) ensures that her clients are prepared to put their best foot forward in terms of academic, extracurricular, clinical, service, and personal preparedness for the challenging journey of medical education. Prior to joining College Connections, LLC, Jess successfully advised hundreds of undergraduate pre-med students for five years as Associate Director for the Office of Health Professions Advising at Princeton University. As a private consultant, Jess offers a full complement of support to pre-med students at any stage of the preparation and application process.
Jess is skilled at guiding students to maximize their own internal and on-campus resources, and also enjoys serving as a resource to families. Jess' services include: readiness assessment, help with creating "the list," reviewing personal statements and American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). She also conducts and evaluates mock interviews, and manages school decisions. Jess has been published in Pre-Med Life and blogs/posts regularly on social media on topics related to education, pre-med preparation, and maintaining balance in the pursuit of excellence.
