Jennifer, M.S.

Jennifer “Jen” received her Masters of Science in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from Saint Joseph’s, Jen spent a year as an AmeriCorps Volunteer and then worked at the American Red Cross in Philadelphia, PA before attending graduate school.

Jen has over 15 years of experience working in Higher Education including work at Georgetown University as Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs in the School of Nursing and Health Studies. Prior to working at Georgetown, Jen worked as an Academic Advisor at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Before moving to Virginia in 2012, Jen lived in Boston for over ten years and worked as an Academic Dean at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. She also worked at Boston College and Northeastern University in both Academic and Student Affairs. Additionally, she has worked at both public and private institutions in various capacities including Admissions, Academic Affairs, and New Student Orientation. Jen’s strengths include resume and essay writing as well as the administration of both personality and career assessment instruments. Jen is passionate about supporting and empowering students as they pursue both academic and personal goals.
