Christina, M.Ed.

Christina received her Masters of Education in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame. Christina worked at Harvard in undergraduate admissions with prospective applicants and their families as a Harvard Interviewer. Prior to joining College Connections, she provided college admissions guidance at an inner city Boston high school through the COACH program (College Opportunity and Career Help) and then served as the Director of College Counseling at an independent high school in Austin, Texas. Her responsibilities included administration of standardized tests and college preparation curriculum planning. Christina then was the Director of Guidance and College Counseling at a charter high school in Los Angeles where she helped students choose the right colleges, reviewed essays, wrote letters of recommendation and interacted with admissions officers from around the country. Christina has spent her years at College Connections supporting students applying to undergraduate, transfer and graduate programs. She is an accomplished writer who combines her love for writing and experience in counseling as one of our leading essay specialists. She is passionate about guiding her students in creating and embarking on their personal statements. Christina excitedly brings her exceptional expertise in Ivy League admissions as well as her years of counseling experience working with College Connections families. Christina is originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico and is happily married with two small children.
