Alexandra, M.A.

Alexandra obtained a Master in Arts in Educational Psychology at the University of San Francisco and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of San Diego. Alexandra has been working as a college counselor for the last eight years in the Bay Area. She obtained a Certificate of College Counseling at the University of California Berkeley Extension program to better help her students in college counseling and planning.
Alexandra also teaches for the UCLA Extension College Certificate Program. She is currently teaching the course, "Using the Internet for College/Career Counseling" to better prepare professionals in the field seeking a college and career certificate. Prior to being a college counselor, Alexandra spent time working at a staffing agency, helping candidates with their resumes, and building their career objectives and goals to find meaningful employment. She is a proud member of WACAC (Western Association for College Admissions Counseling), HECA (Higher Education Consultant Association), and NACAC (National Association for College Admissions Counseling) for professional development and practices a high standard of ethics and professional responsibility. Alexandra brings her knowledge, experience and expertise to College Connections. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and daughter.
